PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the Q value, reduce the required charging time, and enhance moisture resistance in a multilayer ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: A dielectric ceramic layer 111 includes a primary phase particle and a secondary phase 20. The primary phase particle contains a perovskite compound. The perovskite compound contains Zr and Mn, and further contains at least one element selected from a group consisting of Ti, Ca, Sr, and Ba. In the perovskite compound, a mol ratio z of Ti/(Zr+Ti) is 0≤z≤0.2 and a mol ratio of Zr/(Zr+Ti) is 1-z, a mol ratio x of Sr/(Ca+Sr+Ba) is 0≤x≤1.0, a mol ratio y of Ba/(Ca+Sr+Ba) is 0≤y≤0.3, a mol ratio of Ca/(Ca+Sr+Ba) is 1-x-y, and a mol ratio m of (Ca+Sr+Ba)/(Zr+Ti) is 0.95≤m<1.03. The secondary phase 20 contains a segregated Mn. In a laminate body 110, the secondary phase 20 is positioned inside of a secondary area 11 and is not positioned inside of a third area 12. |
