PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that executes image processing by communicating with an external device.SOLUTION: A relay device acquires from an image processor first scan image data containing a first image that is to be printed on an address surface of a printing medium by the image processor. The relay device generates first image data by extracting the first image from the first scan image. The relay device acquires from the image processor second image data by scanning the printing medium. The relay device specifies a printing area on the basis of the acquired second image data, and arranges the first image within the specified printing area in the direction based on direction information, to generate address surface print image data representing an address surface print image to be printed on the address surface of the printing medium. The relay device transmits the generated address surface print image data to the image processor. |
