A battery-type work vehicle that includes: a vehicle body that has a battery mounted thereon; a counterweight that is arranged at one end part of the vehicle body and that has a housing part that opens upward with regard to the vehicle body and that houses one part of the battery; a passage that is provided to one part of the counterweight and that connects the housing part and the exterior of the counterweight; and a cover that is provided above the counterweight and that covers one part of a counterweight-exterior-side opening of the passage.
