PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which is reducible in an axial dimension as a brake device which is mounted on a vehicle transmission, in particular, as a brake device in which a hydraulic chamber is arranged at the inside apart from an internal peripheral face of a transmission case.SOLUTION: In a constitution having a piston 85 which is arranged at one side of a friction plate set 81 in an axial direction, a cylinder 86 for accommodating the piston 85, and a hydraulic chamber 88 which is arranged at an anti-friction plate set 81 side of the piston 85, and fastens a fixed-side friction plate 81a and a rotation-side friction plate 81b of the friction plate set 81 at the supply of hydraulic pressure, an oil feed port 85g which faces the inside of the hydraulic chamber 88 is arranged at an external peripheral wall 85f which opposes an internal peripheral face of a transmission case 3 in the piston 85 in a separated state, and a hydraulic pressure supply passage to the oil feed port 85g is made to serve as a seal part 90b which intrudes into the case 3 from the outside of the transmission case 3, and elastically abuts on the external peripheral wall 85f of the fastening piston 85 at its tip, and constituted of an oil feed pipe 90 which oil-tightly communicates with the oil feed port 85g. |
