PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external pharmaceutical composition which is excellent in stability by finding out a solvent component which does not hydrolyze it in spite of dissolving clobetasone ester, in the external pharmaceutical composition containing clobetasone ester.SOLUTION: An external pharmaceutical composition contains 1) clobetasone ester and 2) adipic acid ester and/or N-alkyl 2-pyrrolidone. The clobetasone ester is clobetasone butyrate, the adipic acid ester is adipic acid diisopropyl, and the external pharmaceutical composition is an ointment or cream. The external pharmaceutical composition does not contain benzyl alcohol substantially. |
