A disclosed embodiment relates to a device and a method for processing a video, which can manage the security level of the contents included in the video, and may provide a video processing method comprising the steps of: receiving an identifier of a video and information on a security policy to be configured for the video; receiving security information relating to the security policy; preparing a video using the identifier of the received video; and updating the security information of the prepared video using the received information according to the security policy.
