The present invention relates to a physical simulation apparatus of clothes for augmented reality-based virtual fitting, which comprises: a photographing unit configured to obtain an image of a user; a sensor configured to measure a motion of the user; a modeling unit configured to provide a plurality of three-dimensional models individually corresponded to a plurality of clothes which are virtually fitted by the user, and may be overlapped each other; a simulation unit configured to independently perform simulation with respect to each of the three-dimensional models according to the measured motion of the user; and a rendering unit configured to render the three-dimensional models, which are simulated by the simulation unit, as the image. The rendering unit can be configured to sequentially render the three-dimensional models in order that the clothes are overlapped.
