PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber device capable of reliably detecting disconnection of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical fiber device comprises an optical fiber 21 for transmitting light and a disconnection detection part 3 that is disposed along the optical fiber 21 and energized for detecting disconnection of the optical fiber 21. The disconnection detection part 3 is provided with an energized conductive part 31 and a support part 32 for supporting the conductive part 31. A melting point of the support part 32 is lower than a melting point of the conductive part 31, and the conductive part 31 is formed so as to be broken by melting of the support part 32. |
