PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and an image display method which provide high quality display.SOLUTION: There is provided an image display device including an image conversion part, a display part, and a first lens part. The image conversion part acquires information of a first image and converts the information of the first image, to derive a second image. The display part includes a plurality of pixels provided on a fist surface and emitting light corresponding to the second image. The first lens part includes a plurality of lenses which are provided on a second surface and on which at least a part of the light is made incident. The first surface includes a first display area and a second display area different from the first display area. The plurality of pixels include a plurality of first pixels provided in the first display area and emitting the light corresponding to the first part of the first image, and a plurality of second pixels provided in the second display area and emitting the light corresponding to the first part. The positions of the plurality of first pixels in the first display area are different from the positions of the plurality of second pixels in the second display area. |
