Disclosed are a life log device comprising a recording prevention function, and a recording prevention method thereof. The life log device of the present invention can prevent a problem of an invasion of privacy which can occur during life log image recording by comprising a recording prevention function capable of preventing image recording when performing a certain event. The event can be relevant to reading a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag which a third party or an external building has or attaches, or recognizing a quick response (QR) code by photographing the QR code, or installing the life log device in a certain region. The life log device comprises: a camera for generating a digital image by photographing the front; a code recognition unit for receiving an identification code from an external device or an indicator; an event management unit for generating a recording prevention event when the identification code read through the code recognition unit is a preregistered identification code, and progressing to a recording prevention mode; and a log management unit for storing the digital image photographed by the camera in a log file, and when the event occurs, storing an image part photographed before the occurring time of the event, and not recording an image during the recording prevention mode. |
