PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper reinforcement capable of reducing increment degree of collision load conducted to a vehicle body in an early stage of collision.SOLUTION: There is provided a bumper reinforcement R1 of hollow material, comprising: a back wall 1 facing a vehicle body; an upper wall 2 extending from an upper part of the back wall 1 to the forward side; a lower wall 3 extending from a lower part of the back wall 1 to the forward side; a front wall 4 supported by only the upper wall 2 and the lower wall 3; an upper reinforcement wall 5 reaching the middle section in the forth and back direction of the upper wall 2 from the middle section in the height direction of the back wall 1; and a lower reinforcement wall 6 reaching the middle section in the forth and back direction of the lower wall 3 from the middle section in the height direction of the back wall 1. On a virtual plane having a normal line corresponding to central axis of the hollow material, the front wall 4 is positioned at a position forwarder than virtual line L crossing the most front part of the upper reinforcement wall 5 and the most front part of the lower reinforcement wall 6. |
