PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducer for reducing load of decoding processing.SOLUTION: An image reproducer 1 for reproducing a multi-viewpoint image consisting of a plurality of viewpoint images photographed from a plurality of positions includes: an image data processing section 16 for decoding the multi-viewpoint images; a display section 20 for displaying the viewpoint image of the decoded multi-viewpoint image in a prescribed display direction; and a viewpoint corresponding information generation section 13 for generating viewpoint corresponding information 34 where the display direction of the viewpoint image in the display section 20 and image identification information included in the viewpoint image are made to correspond. The image data processing section 16 performs processing for decoding the viewpoint image in response to the viewpoint corresponding information 34.
