PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device and a program that are able to set a communication mode according to a use state.SOLUTION: In S1, an on-vehicle device distinguishes a class of a connected expansion device, and proceeds to S3, S6, S9, or S12 depending on the class. In S3, S6, S9 and S12, it authenticates the expansion device. In S4, S5, S7 and S8, it sets a Bluetooth (R) flag. In S10, S11, S13 and S14, it sets a WiFi flag. In S15 and S19, it determines whether or not a flag set at present is only the Bluetooth flag. If the flag is only the Bluetooth flag (S15 and S19: YES), in S16 and S20, it determines that the communication mode is a communication mode by Bluetooth. On the other hand, if even one WiFi flag is set (S15 and S19: NO), in S17 and S21, it determines that the communication mode is a communication mode by WiFi. |
