An objective of the present invention is, while protecting an active matrix substrate from static electricity, to make a frame region narrower. Provided is an active matrix substrate (20a), comprising a plurality of first wires (GL), a plurality of second wires (SL), and a protector part (50). The plurality of first wires is formed within a display region (30). The plurality of second wires is formed within the display region, and intersects the plurality of first wires. The protector part protects the active matrix substrate from static electricity. The protector part further comprises a plurality of first protector circuits (50A), and conductor parts (50B). The plurality of first protector circuits are connected to each of the plurality of first wires within the display region. The conductor parts are connected to each of the plurality of first protector circuits within the display region. Each of the plurality of first protector circuits allow electricity to pass between the first wires and the conductor parts according to the potentials of the first wires to which the first protector circuits are connected. |
