The present invention relates to a method and a system for recommending contents in an upload service of a server. The method comprises the following steps of: generating, by a user device, a hash value of a contents file, and transmitting the hash value with a meta information to the server; comparing, by a server, the contents file hash value of another user stored in advance and meta information with the received contents file hash value and the meta information; extracting users and generating a user list extracting users and generating a user list when the same contents file has value exists; generating a list of contents files in the server which the users on the user list have; calculating a user common possession ratio PA for each contents file; comparing the PA with a contents recommendation rate P preset by the server for each contents file; and generating a P-based contents recommendation list that is the contents file list obtained by extracting contents files having a rate higher than the P value. |
