PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating apparatus and an electrostatic coating method in which a liquid can be applied to a desired location of an object to be coated selectively and more easily.SOLUTION: An electrostatic coating apparatus 100A comprises: a nozzle part 10A for discharging a liquid to a substrate SB; a counter electrode 20 disposed to face the nozzle part 10A for supporting the substrate SB; a power supply 30 for applying a voltage between the nozzle part 10A and the counter electrode 20; and a magnetic field application part 60A for controlling the motion of the liquid by applying a magnetic field to the liquid. Since the control of the motion of the liquid by the magnetic field is easy, it is possible to control the motion of the liquid more easily. |
