PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation and inspection method for detecting local distortion while suppressing the number of input of straight lines to be as few as possible by evaluating a series of straight line property which is the result of detection and calculation result of the inputted straight line.SOLUTION: An evaluation method detects and outputs a position indicated by a coordinate indicator such as a finger or a pen and detects local abnormality in resistance value in a surface resistor composing a coordinate input range in a coordinate input system and an evaluation method for the coordinates input system: inputs a plurality of straight lines at a prescribed interval in two directions orthogonal to each other by the coordinate indicator inside a coordinate input range; determines whether a local resistance abnormality exists of a size greater than a first threshold to a group of output coordinates in the coordinate input system corresponding to the straight line; having a plurality of local curves be a cluster of curves group when at least a plurality of local curves exist in a specified range and determines that a local resistance value abnormality exists in the surface resistor in the range. |
