Disclosed are a mobile terminal for emoticon chatting which enables a more realistic chat to be carried out among a plurality of participants who are connected to a chat window by using emoticons, and a mobile chatting method using the mobile terminal. To this end, the present invention comprises: an emoticon generating unit for generating an emoticon expressing an emotion, feeling, and an action of a person; an emoticon operating unit for dynamically reproducing a process of showing the generated emoticon reaching a selectee from a sender (the user himself/herself); and a dynamic emoticon display unit for simultaneously attaching a dynamic emoticon generated by the reproduction to messages of the sender and the selectee so as to display the dynamic emotion on the chat window. Accordingly, the present invention enables a more realistic and lively chat and can increase a dynamic emoticon usage rate to maximize profits from the dynamic emoticons. |
