A magnetic resonance imaging device comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring an undersampled spectrum on a k-space; and a recovery unit for generating a target image through the undersampled spectrum, wherein the recovery unit can comprise: a first sub recovery unit for performing an initial recovery for data corresponding to a non-sampled position on the k-space through a slit Bregman technique or an approximation sparse encoding technique; a second sub recovery unit which decomposes, in multiple bands, the initially recovered spectrum on the k-space into a plurality of individual spectra, and which carries out a dictionary learning recovery by alternating a sparse approximation and recovery of frequencies measured for images corresponding to the decomposed bands; and an image generation unit for merging the recovered images of the respective frequency bands so as to generate the target image.
