According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain good manipulability and to obtain efficient assembly of an electrical connector also with a simple and easy configuration. The electrical connector is configured to obtain good shield property as to a transmission path with a simple and easy configuration. According to the electrical connector, at least a part of an outer surface of an actuator (14) and an insulating housing (11) is covered by shield shells (11c, 14c) formed with a conductive metallic member, and the shield shell (14c) at the side of the actuator moved to an operation position is made to contact the shield shell (11c) at the side of the insulating housing so that the transmission path from a signal transmission medium F to a printed wiring board is covered continuously by conductive contact members (12, 13). Thus, both shield shells (11c, 14c) are contacted by movement of the actuator (14), to be able to obtain good shield property as to the transmission path. |
