PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved oxygen capture composition and a packaging material.SOLUTION: An oxygen capture composition contains (I) iron as a metal component which can oxidize, (II) NaCl as an electrolyte component, (III) NaHPOonly or both of NaHPOand NaHPOas a non-electrolyte component, (IV) a non-ionic surfactant component selected from a group consisting of alkyl polyethylene glycol ether, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol polyethylene glycol block copolymer, polyethylene polyethylene glycol block copolymer. The oxygen capture composition is used preferably for a food packing material. |
