PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for a solar battery, which is excellent in rigidity while both of transparency and adhesiveness are compatible with each other.SOLUTION: A sealing material for a solar battery has: an (A) layer which contains ionomer of ethylene α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid type copolymer and silane coupling agent, the content rate of constitutional units derived from α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid in 100 wt% of ethylene α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid type copolymer ranges from not less than 3 wt% to not more than 25 wt%; and a (B) layer containing magnesium ionomer of ethylene α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid type copolymer having a neutralization degree of 35 mol% or more. |
