摘要 Through the present invention, color reproduction properties are enhanced in an endoscopic device which uses a plurality of wavelengths of narrow-band light as illumination light. An endoscopic device is provided with a light-emitting unit (48) for emitting illumination light configured from a plurality of narrow-band lights to an observation subject, an imaging element (58) for detecting reflected scattered light from the observation subject and outputting an imaging signal, and an image processing circuit (62) for processing the imaging signal. The image processing circuit (62) has: a wavelength omission region spectrum intensity information estimation unit (64) for correlating, for each color sensitivity region of the imaging element (58), the peak wavelength of narrow-band light included in a color sensitivity region and the intensity of the reflected scattered light detected by a light detection element of the imaging element (58) corresponding to the color sensitivity region and deriving narrow-band light spectrum intensity information, and estimating wavelength omission region spectrum intensity information on the basis of the narrow-band light spectrum intensity information; and a wavelength omission region compensation processing unit (66) for performing wavelength omission region compensation processing so as to approximate the image signal obtained in a case in which illumination light having no wavelength omission region is radiated, on the basis of the narrow-band light spectrum intensity information and the wavelength omission region spectrum intensity information.
