Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a webpage loading method and device, the method comprising: transmitting to a server the address of a first webpage via a client, and also transmitting to the server the name of the resource of the first webpage stored by the client, the first webpage being a webpage currently requested to be accessed by the client, such that the server determines, according to the address of the first webpage, the names of all the resources required for loading the first webpage, and determines, according to the name of the resource of the first webpage stored by the client and the names of all the resources required for loading the first webpage, a first pushed resource to be transmitted to the client, the first pushed resource being the resources in all resources required for loading the first webpage except the resource of the first webpage stored by the client, that is, the first pushed resource does not include the resource of the first webpage stored by the client, but only includes the resource of the first webpage not stored locally in the client, thus preventing the server from pushing to the client the resource already stored locally in the client, thus saving the bandwidth resource of a communication network. |
