Provided are an aluminum alloy which does not require addition of metallic elements such as iron, and with which high thermal conductivity can be achieved, and a method for manufacturing the same. The alloy is obtained from a semimolten material having a granular crystalline structure, the chemical components of which comprise 2-6 wt% of silicon (Si) and no more than 0.7 wt% of magnesium (Mg), with the remainder being aluminum (Al) and unavoidable impurities. The alloy is manufactured through a process involving a heating step (S1) for obtaining the semimolten material, a semimolten molding step (S2) for semimolten molding of the semimolten material obtained in the heating step (S1), and a heat treatment step (S3) following the semimolten molding step, involving heat treatment for 1-5 hours at 190-290°C. |
