The present invention relates to a method for preparing graphite with a functionalized edge, in which the doping percent of heteroatoms is high, while using lower grade graphite with low impurity, to a method for manufacturing a graphene nanoplate, and to a graphene nanoplate manufactured thereby. A graphene nanoplate with a functionalized edge can be manufactured, which allows a very simple, economical, and mass-productive manufacturing process; improves economical efficiency in view of a raw material since lower grade graphite having a large average particle size and a low carbon content can be used; and has a significantly higher doping percent of heteroatoms rather than when fine-pulverized graphite is conventionally used. |
