PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a message which includes a code indicative of communication path information is not appropriately processed by all apparatuses.SOLUTION: In a communication method, it is judged whether or not a predetermined code is interpreted by each apparatus, which is the transmission destination of the message, as the same content. When the apparatus does not interpret the code as the same content, the code is not added to the message. It is also judged whether or not the apparatus is compatible with a function required by the message. When the apparatus is not compatible with the function required by the message, the code is not added to the message.
