PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately inspect the presence and absence of the attachment of a bearing metal which is arranged between a connecting rod and a crankpin.SOLUTION: In an engine in which a small-end part 3b of a connecting rod 3 is connected to a piston 17, and its large-end part 3a is connected to a crankpin 4 of a crankshaft 1, a method supplies air to a lubricant passage 15 which is formed at the crankshaft 1, and opened at an external peripheral face of the crankpin 4, and inspects the presence and absence of the attachment of a bearing metal 10 which is arranged between the connecting rod 3 and the crankpin 4 on the basis of a supply pressure of air. The method upwardly or downwardly moves the piston 17 so that the large-end part 3a of the connecting rod 3 moves to a rotating direction R of the crankpin 4 in a state that the rotation of the crankshaft 1 is stopped at the measurement of supply pressure. |
