PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glass fiber capable of adjusting a foam layer state which is formed on a glass molten liquid surface.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of glass fiber is characterized in that a kaolin raw material for glass manufacture having equal to or more than 300 ppm of a chemical oxygen demand (COD) is used for preparing a raw material batch, and the prepared raw material batch is melted, and then molded into a fibrous state.
