PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high density spherical alumina powder that affinity with resin is good and has highly packable surface property, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: High density spherical alumina powder that an average particle diameter is not more than 50 μm, a deviation from spherical form is not less than 0.9, and a true specific gravity is not less than 3.9, and Kubelka-Munk absorbance of infrared absorption spectrum of alumina powder surface hydroxyl group by diffuse reflection FT-IR method in vacuum condition and at 400°C is not less than 0.0010 at 3720 cmand not less than 0.0012 at 3550 cm. |
