PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle achieving, in a structure in which a change mechanism and a shift motor are arranged on the front side of a power unit, both the compactification of an electric speed change device and securing of a clearance between a front wheel and a shift motor.SOLUTION: A change mechanism (60) for selectively establishing a shift stage of a transmission (41) and a shift motor (71) supplying rotational power to the change mechanism (60) are provided on a front part of a power unit (P). On the front of a transmission chamber (30), a reduction gear mechanism (72) is arranged for reducing the speed of the rotational power inputted from the shift motor (71). The shift motor (71) is disposed such that a motor body (71a) of the shift motor (71) is situated behind the reduction gear mechanism (72). |
