PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system capable of realizing installation of an electronic settlement function at low costs without impairing merits of a tablet terminal in a configuration using the tablet terminal as a POS terminal, and further to provide a control method of the POS system.SOLUTION: A POS system SY comprises: a card reader 4 reading data; a printer 2 being connected to the card reader 4 and inputting the data from the card reader 4; and a tablet terminal 1 being connected to the printer 2 and having a POS application 52 performing accounting processing, a settlement application 53 performing settlement processing on the basis of the data input to the printer 2 and a control section 110 controlling the POS application 52 and the settlement application 53. |
