The present invention relates to a solenoid for a vehicle. The solenoid for a vehicle, which controls a gear-based device in a vehicle using an electromagnetic force formed by an electric current applied by an external power supply source, comprises: a case; a bobbin installed and fixated inside the case; a permanent magnet installed outside the bobbin; a first coil and a second coil formed on an other outer side of the bobbin by winding a wire formed with the permanent magnet therebetween, conducting electricity therebetween; a plunger installed inside the bobbin to be able to slide, and moving to one end of the base when an electric current is applied to the first coil and the second coil; a stopper assembled by being inserted into the plunger, penetrating one side of the case, and stopping a gear-based device operation by gearing with gear teeth on one side of the gear of the gear-based device; an elastic spring to elastically support the plunger such that the plunger can be restored when an external electric current is blocked; and a plate elastically supported by the elastic spring, limiting a moving distance of the plunger. |
