<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric outboard motor with improved operability without occupying a space in a ship. <P>SOLUTION: The electric outboard motor 1 with a drive motor 2 as an AC motor includes: an electric outboard motor body 11 having the drive motor 2 and an inverter 3 for supplying an AC current converted from a DC current to the drive motor 2; a control/power supply unit 12 configured separately from the outboard motor body 11 to supply the DC current to the inverter 3; and a connection cable 710 for electrically connecting the outboard motor body 11 to the control/power supply unit 12. The inverter 3 and the drive motor 2 are stacked along an axial direction of a rotation output shaft of the drive motor 2.
