Connection system for electricity meters

Connection system for a current meter, especially an electronic current meter (4) comprises a base platform (7) and a mounting assembly (6) for the meter that is mounted on the base platform as a single unit. The meter mounting assembly has all the elements necessary for electrical and mechanical connection of the meter. A single base platform is suitable for connection of a several mounting assemblies, whereby advantageously the connections can be installed and made after all the mounting places have been filled.
