<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining an estrogen-related disease by identifying SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) of membrane-bound female hormone receptor GPR30 (G-protein coupled receptor 30) existing in an estrogen-related disease tissue and elucidating functions of GPR30 having genetic polymorphism, and a method for screening a therapeutic agent of estrogen-related disease. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining the estrogen-related disease includes detecting at least one kind of SNP existing in ORF (Open Reading Frame) of human GPR30 gene. The method for screening a therapeutic agent of estrogen-related disease includes: a process of expressing GPR30 containing at least one kind of SNP existing in ORF of human GPR30 gene, bringing a substance to be tested into contact with a cell line having a low degree of cell death in comparison with a cell line expressing a wild-type GPR30, analyzing the degree of cell proliferation and selecting a substance for controlling cell proliferation; or a process of analyzing the degree of cell death and selecting a substance for promoting cell death. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
