The present invention provides a local magnetic particle detecting apparatus of a circular material capable of partially detecting a circular material which is a tested object such as a tubular steel pipe with a circular cross section or a steel round rod with a circular cross section. The local magnetic particle detecting apparatus comprises: a 3-pole magnetizer (20) consisting of 3 stimuli (22a, 22b, 22c) forming equal angles at 120 degrees; support rollers (30, 32) wherein the tested object (10) arranged to face a pole-face of the 3-pole magnetizer (20) is supported to be rotated; a magnetic particle solution supply container (34) arranged in the upper part of the tested object (10) to spray a magnetic particle solution to the rotating tested object (10); and black light (36) arranged to be adjacent to the magnetic particle solution supply container (34) to detect defects by checking a state of a fluorescent magnetic particle solution. |
