<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To back up data to a device away from a device having generated the backup data without the backup causing access concentration at one device. <P>SOLUTION: A backup device includes: instruction reception means for receiving a backup instruction including information for specifying a partner device; backup data storage means for storing backup data in association with a generation device having generated the backup data; distance information storage means for storing a movement origin distance indicating a distance between the generation device and the own device; distance acquisition means for acquiring a movement destination distance indicating a distance between the generation device and the partner device; and transmission determination means for determining to transmit the backup data to the partner device when the movement destination distance between the generation device and the partner device is longer than the movement origin distance and determining not to transmit the backup data when the movement destination distance is shorter than the movement origin distance, upon the reception of the backup instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
