<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To approximate an image density or a toner concentration of a specific position to a vale when the sensitivity of a plurality of detecting means that are provided at mutually different positions is normal, even if any sensitivity of the plurality of detecting means is lower than the normal sensitivity, in a case where the image density or the toner concentration of the specific position is obtained by using the plurality of detecting means. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes a plurality of sensors 24 for optically detecting an image on any surface of a photoreceptor 11, an intermediate transfer body 20, and a recording medium P at mutually different positions in the direction crossing with a moving direction. A control section 4 forms an adjustment image on a forming surface by an image forming section 7, calculates the density of the adjustment image on the basis of output signals of the sensors 24 and calculates a weighted average value of the density by using weights determined to the mutually different positions so as to, when a difference of outputs of the plurality of sensors 24 exceeds a threshold, compensate low sensitivity of a sensor the sensitivity of which is relatively low among the plurality of sensors 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
