<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses a medium having high rigidity entering a transfer zone from jumping up even when transporting the medium at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (U) includes a guide member (6) that is disposed upstream of a transport direction of a medium (S) relative to a transfer zone (Q4) where a transfer device (T2) and an image carrier (B) face each other, and that guides a surface of the medium (S) on the image carrier (B) side, the medium being transported to the transfer zone (Q4). The guide member (6) includes: a support part (11) supported onto a main body (U3) of the image forming apparatus (U); and a contact part (13) that has a free end portion (13c) movable in a direction approaching toward the support part (11) when contacting with a supported portion (13e) supported by the support part (11) and the medium (S), and that is allowed to contact with the medium (S). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
