PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition timing control device for an internal combustion engine in which the deformation and wear progress of an injector needle can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An ignition timing control device for an engine (internal combustion engine) 1 includes a serial 4-cylinder engine 1 arranged in a predetermined cylinder arrangement, a plurality of injectors 2 provided at a cylinder head 1b so that injection holes for respective cylinders #1 to #4 may face the inside of the combustion chamber 1d, and delivery pipes 101 for supplying a fuel to the plurality of injectors 2. Furthermore, when it is decided that a flow rate change quantity of the fuel in the injectors 2 is over a predetermined change quantity and a thermal displacement difference between the delivery pipes 101 and the cylinder head 1b is over a predetermined displacement difference, an ECU 200 exerts control for reducing a pressure in the combustion chamber 1d of at least one of the cylinders #1 and #4 disposed at the ends out of the plurality of cylinders #1 to #4 through the use of a cylinder internal pressure reduction means. |
