<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon-containing nonfired agglomerated ore which has an increased amount of inner carbon due to reduced use of a hydraulic binder and has a high cold crushing strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a carbon-containing nonfired agglomerated ore includes steps of: adding a binder containing pregelatinized starch adjusted to a particle size of 200μm or less to at least either a pellet feed or powdery iron ore adjusted to a particle size of 250μm or less and solid carbon, and then mixing and kneading them; pelletizing the mixed and kneaded matter to form an agglomerated ore; and curing and drying the formed agglomerated ore. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
