PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cladding material of duplex stainless clad steel having excellent pitting-corrosion resistance, duplex stainless clad steel, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The cladding material of duplex stainless clad steel has a componential composition comprising, by mass, 0.03% or lower of C, 0.001 to 0.15% Si, 2% or lower of Mn, 0.05% or lower of P, 0.01% or lower of S, 2 to 10% Ni, 20 to 28% Cr, 1 to 5% Mo and 0.01 to 0.30% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
