<p>A conveying device in which linking means (17) for linking together longitudinally adjacent traveling objects for conveyance each comprise: a member (18) to be engaged which protrudes upward from one traveling object (1) for conveyance; and a mobile engaging member (19) supported on another traveling object (1) for conveyance so as to be capable of swinging up and down, and having an engaging part that fits, from above, with the member (18) to be engaged; the mobile engaging member (19) being capable of swinging from an operational position of being engaged with the member (18) to be engaged, past a non-engaged position of being detached upward from the member (18) to be engaged, to a non-operational position facing the opposite direction; and the mobile engaging member (19) being switched to the non-operational position in a storage area where the traveling objects (1) for conveyance can be stored in a state of matching up front to back.</p> |
