<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect a turning angle of a slot for an optical cable in which intervals of inverting positions of the slot are not fixed.SOLUTION: A turning angle measuring device for a slot for an optical cable comprises: slot turning angle measuring means 31 including a batten which is engaged to the slot and rotated in response to twist of the slot, for measuring a turning angle of the slot from a rotation amount of the batten which is rotated in response to travel of the slot for the optical cable; inertia force extinguishing means 43 for generating an inertia force of which the magnitude is equal to that of an inertia force generated by rotating the batten and the direction is inverse; and position control means which performs control to move a position of the inertia force extinguishing means 43 in a forward/backward direction of a traveling path of the slot for the optical cable. The position control means moves the position of the inertia force extinguishing means 43 to such a position that two turning positions where twisting directions of the slot are turned oppositely to each other, simultaneously pass the slot turning angle measuring means 31 and the inertia force extinguishing means 43, respectively.</p> |
