<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer microparticle having a sodium sulfonate group, which is a nanometer-level polymer microparticle having narrow particle diameter distribution, introduced with a large amount of sodium sulfonate groups; which is not soluble in water, and has excellent proton conductivity; and which is preferably used for a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) or the like in a solid fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer microparticle having a sodium sulfonate group comprises: the polymer having a sodium sulfonate group, wherein the polymer includes a repeating unit derived from an aromatic vinylic compound introduced with a sodium sulfonate group on the aromatic ring, and has a crosslinked structure; and the average particle diameter of the polymer microparticle measured by a transmission type electron microscope is 10-500 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
