<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incombustible oil adsorbing material which is excellent in oil adsorptivity and incombustibility and is prevented from being ignited with a spark and burned. <P>SOLUTION: The incombustible oil adsorbing material has at least one surface covered with an inorganic substance and is characterized in that one or two or more holes satisfying the following condition (I) or (II) are arranged on the covering layer of the inorganic substance and an interval between the adjacent holes is≥30 mm. The condition (I): the area of the hole is≤210 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and the condition (II): the width of the hole is≤5 mm and the hole has a long shape. By covering the surface of the incombustible oil adsorbing material with the covering layer of the inorganic substance, which has the holes satisfying the specified condition, oil is smoothly adsorbed through the holes and the covering layer of the inorganic substance can prevent the incombustible oil adsorbing material from being ignited and burned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
