A semiconductor device and a formation method thereof are provided. The semiconductor device comprises: a first dielectric layer surrounding a first transmission line; and a magnetic layer surrounding the first dielectric layer. The magnetic layer increases inductance of a transmission line. The semiconductor device having the magnetic layer surrounding the first transmission line increases impedance without an increase of resistance compared with the semiconductor device having no magnetic layer to enable an electric current to pass through the transmission line. When the resistance is increased, the increase of the electric current or electric power is required and durability of the semiconductor device is reduced compared with the semiconductor device of which the resistance is not increased.
