At least one longitudinal section (204) of the pipe wall (202) comprises or defines a local variation in construction to provide a variation in a property of the pipe (200). The local variation in construction provides a behavioural characteristic of the pipe (200) to facilitate improved measurement at the at least one longitudinal section (204) by a measuring device. |
