PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing silver powder suitable as silver powder for paste and having excellent dispersibility, in which flocculation is prevented in a process from the reduction generation to cleaning of silver grains, and surface treatment for improving characteristics is uniformly applied to the surfaces of the silver grains having reduced flocculation.SOLUTION: In a process where silver grains generated by mixing an ammine complex solution of silver salt and a reducing agent and reducing the mixture are subjected to each step of filtering, cleaning and drying to produce silver powder, the cleaning is performed with a cleaning fluid admixed with a dispersant, and further, upon the cleaning for at least one time, the cleaning is performed with a cleaning fluid admixed with a dispersant and a surface treatment agent, thus cleaning and surface treatment are simultaneously applied to the silver grains in a state where the dispersant is present. |
